What is InstaPlant?

InstaPlant® carpet bedding displays are designed and produced to order at Kernock Park Plants in Cornwall. Delivered anywhere in the UK & Ireland. Your ideas can be transformed into living displays planted from our extensive range of carpet bedding. Any design can be accommodated. Nationwide delivery from April 2011. If we can design it - we can plant it!

InstaPlant® makes light work of a previously labour intensive task. Almost any design idea is possible as long as it can be produced in the bed size you require. The carpet bedding plants used are low growing foliage plants that come in a range of textures and colours, we catalogue around 35 different types of carpet bedding for wholesale.

The best displays are simple, bold and contrasting. Each display is individually created, designed on computer, planted in the nursery, grown on, trimmed up and delivered to you ready for you to install. Or if you prefer we can also install the display for you. On delivery, you simply slide the pre-rooted tiles of plants out of the trays onto a pre-prepared bed (following the detailed plan supplied). This instantly transforms the bed into a colourful work of art within hours.

The displays can also be used for Exhibitions as they are delivered in mobile units. Carpet Bedding is now available to everyone!

Don't believe us? An InstaPlant® carpet bed display (covering 600m2) was installed in Trafalgar Square on the 25th August 2005 for just one day.

It was then taken to Exmouth and installed on the seafront the very next day - thats 1200m2 of carpet bedding installed in under 48 hours.

3D InstaPlant® offers boundless opportunities to install unique, eye-catching, living, 3 dimensional displays. We have created displays ranging from a 4 metre tall effigy of Johnny Wilkinson to a Dinosaur.

3D InstaPlant® enables this very specialist art form to be delivered to clients efficiently and hassle free.

Each structure is designed to order, fabricated in steel, irrigation system installed, planted-up, grown on and delivered to site.

InstaPlant Living Wall Displays

Breathe life into your event with the new InstaPlant® Living Wall Display. This is the latest addition to the InstaPlant® range. Your ideas can be transformed into a living wall display, designed using computer technology and planted from over 50 foliage plants in a whole spectrum of colours and textures. Delivery to UK & Ireland is possible from May 2011.

Supplied in 50cm x 50cm 'ELT' tiles, can be as wide or as tall as required. The tiles are hung on battons fixed to an existing wall. The tiles can be planted with annual plants which will last one season but are more colourful then the hardy plants which could last for two seasons if well maintained.

The tiles can be replanted for the following season. This display is recommended for an outdoor display but can be used for a temporary indoor display which is ideal for exhibitions and indoor events.

The guide price for the InstaPlant® Living Wall designed, planted up and established under glass is £280/m2 delivered. This includes the irrigation pipes required for the display. Installation of the living wall is usually less than a day and a simple DIY process. After installation the plants need basic maintenance i.e. watering, feeding, trimming and re-planting as required.
